Soooo this is going to be me for the next couple days. I have a week to write 2 papers with way too many pages. It really shouldn't be that bad, except that recently I've been itching to work on more creative writing projects...creativity by the way, is sufficiently squashed by academic paper writing. It's all good though. I'm so close, I can smell it. Victory. Lol.
Today I skipped church and slept in. And then I went to my cousin's baptism at a Primitive Baptist church deep in the country, and missed the innerchange terribly. It was insane. And a little uncomfortable. I had to wear a sweater to cover my arms.
It's nearly July, people. Come on now.
Mom and I then visited this little hole in the wall diner in Bibb County where we enjoyed the most amazing fried green tomatoes this girl has ever placed in her mouth. They were heavenly, really. They were also unfortunately served to us by a woman who was carrying around a sick, vomiting baby. I'm pretty sure that's a health hazard. I'm going to have a stomach virus before the end of the week, mark my words.
They were real good though. I'm thinking it might have been worth it.
Another fairly uneventful post...sorry about that. Getting back in the swing of things.
